The Shabby Tea Room - Winter Picnic

This week over at THE SHABBY TEA ROOM our sponsor is JustRite Stampers!  This has to be my FAVORITE stamp company!!  Be sure to check out the prizes for this week's challenge...you won't want to miss out on a chance at this week's prize!  This week we want you to create a card or project using white or cream, silver and glitter.
I started with two of the stamps from JustRite Stampers O Christmas Tree clear set and heat embossed with silver.  Then, I cut the image with Spellbinders Nested Pennants and Lacey Pennants.  Next, I embossed the background with my Cuttlebug Music Allegro embossing folder.
I added the silver doily and accents from Spellbinders Ironworks Motifs.  The sentiment was from JustRite Fleur de Lis Labels Twenty cling set and stamped with silver ink.  After adding the sentiment from the Sparky the Snowman retired set, I cut with Spellbinders Labels Twenty.  A little iridescent glitter was added to the outside pennant and center of the motif for sparkle.  Check out this AMAZING prize package...you DEFINITELY won't want to miss this one!

I just LOVE the way all the JustRite stamps work together so seamlessly whether you choose the original (my favorite), the cling, or the new clear sets, you will have ENDLESS possibilities!

WHOOPSI DAISY - White on White

Another great challenge over at WHOOPSI DAISY this week!  The white on white theme seems to be very popular lately and I hope you can join on this simple and fun challenge!  I started with sheet256 and colored with my COPICs in shades of light blue:
The background is textured with a 5 x 7 Cuttlebug folder from the winter bundle last year and the image is cut with Spellbinders Labels Twenty-Two.
It's a little hard to see but I added a little Stickles on the wings and used my dauber to add some Momento Cantaloupe ink to resemble the glow of the candle.  The sentiment is from JustRite.

MY SHERI CRAFTS CHALLENGE - Decorate For Christmas

OK, I shouldn't admit it, but last year I didn't even get my tree up?!?  I know, I know.....I could hear the gasps from here!  Hopefully this challenge at MY SHERI CRAFTS will help get you in the mood to create a project that will help you to Decorate For Christmas!  I made a wreath using Spellbinders Nested Mittens and retired Create-a-Flake 1:
I found these great note cards in the dollar bin at Michael's with a sweater print on them and bought almost all they had - LOL!!  I cut the mittens out (2 to each card) and then embellished with my white Sakura gel pen to look like stitching.  The snowflakes were layered and popped for dimension and I bought little styrofoam balls and cut in half for snowballs.
I added little clips on the back so I can easily change out the decorations on my wreath.  I will try to make it something else later but for now I just LOVE this wreath for the holidays!

The Shabby Tea Room - Colors of Nature

One of my favorite sponsor's this week at THE SHABBY TEA ROOM is:
She has some of the sweetest images and I get to create with them every week since I am lucky enough to be on rhw Whoopsi Daisy Design Team as well!  This week I get to host this challenge and I chose a nature inspired theme with this inspiration photo:
I just LOVE these colors and chose a cute little image from sheet180.  Linnie has created so many wonderful images it is hard for me to choose sometimes?!?  Here's my inspiration for you:

The paper with the leaves was just perfect and I colored the image with my COPICs and added a little Stickles on the wings and bubbles.  I cut with Spellbinders Labels Fifteen and used it also as a stencil to ink the edges with Ranger Antique Linen Distress Ink.  The sentiment is from JustRite Stampers.
We're also having a blog hop and lots of prizes to give away so you will want to check out the Whoopsi Daisy Blog also!

The Shabby Tea Room #88 - A Shabby Pastel Christmas

Another fun week at THE SHABBY TEA ROOM with this week's sponsor:
They have some VERY creative templates and projects to use with your Cricut (or similar) OR cut by hand.  I chose the SNEAKIES because my niece will have a new baby soon and I thought this was the perfect 1st Christmas ornament or momento!
This is the hi-top template.  I cut mine with my Cricut Expression and it was pretty easy!  I went with a pastel purple & white check because I just decorated for her baby shower in shades of purple as well.  I add the circular logo I printed on my pc to mimic a Converse sneaker and finished it off with some purple eyelets and my Crop-a-dile.
A stamp on the back with my JustRite Brayton font stamps and this little sneaker is DONE!  These would be PERFECT for SO MANY occasions.....Don't you think?!?

WHOOPSI DAISY - Colors of Winter

This week WHOOPSI DAISY is challenging you to use the colors of winter!  Don't forget to read about the TOP 3 badges awarded AND the new rules for winning free images.  There have been plenty of freebie images and she has a new one right now in her STORE!  So, either take advantage of the great BOGO offer going on now or a great freebie for a chance to win!  I used an image from sheet320:
I chose this paper from K & Company because it reminded me of winter with all the mittens and boots.  I colored with my COPICs and cut using Spellbinders Classic Circle and the scallop from my Marvy punch!  The sentiment and tag are from JustRite Stampers.
Don't forget to check out all the seasonal images Linnie has in her store right now!

The Shabby Tea Room #87 - Shabby Thanksgiving

This week, over at THE SHABBY TEA ROOM, we are asking you to create a card/project using brown, yellow, neutrals and blue.  Here's my card:

I chose "A Little Birdie Told Me" from our sponsor this week:

I think I managed all the colors listed and I think this turned out REALLY cute!  The papers are from DCWV Linen Closet and they were perfect for this challenge!  I printed the image twice and colored the first image with my COPICs. Then, I colored only the flowers on the 2nd image and hand cut the flowers to pop onto the first image for dimension.

I have been trying to ink my edges a little darker so they show up in photos and I think I gave this a nice vintage look!

WHOOPSI DAISY - TAG IT

This week WHOOPSI DAISY is challenging us to "TAG IT"!  We're switching things up a bit for the challenges and now there's going to be TOP 3 badges awarded AND a winner chosen to receive 2 sheets from Linnie's wonderful collection if you use one of her images.  There have been plenty of freebie images and she has a new one right now in her STORE!  So, either take advantage of the great BOGO offer going on now or pick up this week's freebie for a chance to win!  I used an image from sheet265:
I colored with my COPICs and cut using Spellbinders Ovals and made the tag from scrath with scraps of paper and my Crop-a-dile.  Isn't she just ADORABLE!
Linnie has TONS of Christmas images right now and the sale going on, so what are you waiting for?!?

JustRite Christmas Linky Party

It's a party over at JustRite Stampers blog for the next week!  You will want to join in on the fun and get some of those Christmas cards started (if you haven't already)!  I made a postal-friendly card this time but I hope to get a few more in before the deadline on the 8th.
The border and center are from JustRite Blizzard Bunch and I cut them using Spellbnders Classic Ovals and colored with my COPICs. The papers are just some scraps from last year and I add a piece of lace and a rhinestone flourish.
The poinsettia is Spellbinders Layered Poinsettia.  This is one of my favorites this year!  Even if you don't own any *yet*, be sure to stop by and see all the wonderful creations everyone has made with some of the many Christmas stamps at JustRite Stamps.  They are one of my most favorite things!
