JustRite Friday Challenge #069 - Spring Fling

Today I am celebrating my new job as HOST of the JustRite Friday Challenges!!  I was SO EXCITED that I almost forgot to post my project on my OWN blog!??  Please be sure to head over to JustRite's Challenge blog and check out ALL the details AND follow us BOTH!

Challenge #069 is all about BUTTERFLIES!  All you need is at least 1 JustRite Stamp and some kind of butterfly.  For my sample, I used Ticking Stripe background stamp with Momento Summer Sky. 

The butterfly image is from Botanical Butterflies and stamped with Momento Rich Cocoa, as well as the sentiment in the lower right corner. 

I used COPIC markers to color the image and accent the flower.

The Shabby Tea Room #105 - Spring Is Near

This is my final project over at THE SHABBY TEA ROOM as my term has come to an end *sniff*. I have REALLY enjoyed my time on this team but alas I must depart.  You will certainly be in good hands with all the new shabby girls taking over and I can't wait to see what they will be creating for you in the coming weeks!!

This week, we are asking you to create a card/project with at least 3 colors from the inspiration photo and dry embossing.

JustRite Firday Challenge #067 - Birthday Bash

The JustRite Friday Challenge is perfect for getting ahead of the game and get some birthday cards made before the last minute.  I have several friends that have birthdays soon and even mine is thursday, the 8th!!  WOOHOO!!

I had a few new products that I have been wanting to use so I searched around and found a great combo of Spellbinders and my favorite stamps, JustRite!  I absolutely LOVE the way JustRite Stamps all work together and there are a million combinations you can come up with!  I used a stamped brown birdcage from JustRite Spread Your Wings cling set and the sentiment from Shabby Chic Labels Four cling set that was cut with JustRite Custom Nested Frames die.

I knew I wanted to make a flower with Spellbinders Spiral Blossoms Two for the promotion they are having with Pinterest.  You can find details HERE.  I used white paper and airbrushed with my COPICs before adding a center pearl and a little glitter.  I also added some elements from Spellbinders Bird Sanctuary, Pink Paislee paper and a pearl flourish.

The Shabby Tea Room #104 - Colorful Confections

This week, over at THE SHABBY TEA ROOM, we are asking you to create a card/project with aqua, pink, green and neutrals with a tag. (I missed the aqua part - oops!)

For my sentiment, I chose "Strawberry Word Art" from our sponsor this week:

I discovered that the word "STRAWBERRIES" had just the letters I was looking for to label my jar of "SWEETS"!!  Here's what is started out like before modifying in Photoshop:
