JustRite Friday Challenge #27 - Christmas In July

RECYCLED CDs
Last year I had this idea but didn't get around to it. I thought that this would be the perfect challenge to try it out! I am a programmer in real life so I have A LOT of random cds around! I used 95 pt. Times New Roman Font and stamped the "HO,HO,HO". I took a lesson from Sharon Harnist and sponged the edges with Ranger Antique Linen. I cut out the papers with my circle cutter and ran through my Zyron. The white doily is Martha Stewart and comes in a package of 12 with 3 varieties. (Thanks to Marge from maricopastamper.blogspot.com for pointing them out to me!) The pine branch punch is from McGill and I'm not sure where I got those flowers?? They are connected with some "S" hooks that I got at Lowe's. This project really did put me in the Christmas spirit even if it was 100 degrees today!?!

The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store - LOVE

I have another card to share over at The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store blog today. This one could be used for a wedding, anniversary OR Valentine's Day I think. The paper pad had the simple "Love" sentiment on one of the punch outs in the back.
The punch outs make it so easy to put together a quick card and the silk ribbon gives such a luxurious look too!

Stamp Simply Ribbon Store March Release - Thinking of You Rose

Sharon has been debuting more new stamp sets over at The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store blog. I am sharing the Thinking of You Rose clear stamps set & matching die set.

The papers from Kaisercraft Oh So Lovely were the perfect compliment to Sharon's new exclusive stamp & matching rose die set. I colored the stamped rose with my Copics in mauve & green shades to match the paper.
Having the die to cut out the rose and make it stand out is a great touch!! I'm sure this will be a favorite.

The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store - Be Mine

I have a simple Valentine with GORGEOUS papers from Simple Stories I Am to share today over at The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store blog.
These papers weren't exactly made for Valentine's Day but I think they work very well with the sentiment I stamped from JustRite Spring Wishes Vintage Labels 8 & 9 clear stamps. Perfect for mailing, don't ya think?!?
