For JustRite Friday Challenge #084, I am asking you to create a project using at least 3 flower embellishments! These can be either store-bought or handmade. I used With Sympathy clear set and Nested Oval Medallion Label die for this card. The 3 flowers and leaves are Petaloo Velvet Forget Me Nots. I thought they looked nice against the dark grey papers.
We lost our grandfather over the weekend and I thought I would make a special card for my grandmother. I have been traveling all over Oklahoma and Texas this past week and just realized my post didn't go up as scheduled (sorry about that).
I stamped the rose in grey ink and layered a piece of vellum on top with the sentiment. I really like how this turned out and I hope my grandmother will too?!!

ReplyDeleteThis is such a classy sympathy card. Those flowers are absolutely the perfect accompaniment to your grey color scheme and JustRite's "With Sympathy" and Nested Oval Medallions dies help me so much when I need them. Will definitely be 'scrap lifting' your ingenious rose/vellum idea!
