JustRite Friday Challenge #22

This week on the JustRite Inspiration blog we were asked to use our JustRite stamps to share our favorite Summertime recipes and share the actual recipe too!  I made my first criss cross card with the recipe card inside.  The recipe is something fairly new that my husband can't get enough of.  It's so simple to make and one that I use to make that special meal to take to someone in need.  I hope you enjoy!!

I used 15 pt. font for the "CHICKEN", a border from Big Occasions 1-5/8", and a center from Tiny Words 1-3/16".

Kickin’ Chicken Pasta

Ingredients

1-2 lb thin sliced chicken breast
1 can Rotel
1 can Cream of Mushroom soup
12 oz Velveeta (Reg. or Light)
16 oz pasta shells of choice
1 fresh tomato diced

Directions

1) Boil or grill chicken until cooked thoroughly.
2) Boil pasta per instructions and drain.
3) Add soup and Rotel in a sauteépan at medium heat.
4) Cut cheese in pieces and add slowly.
5) Continue to stir until cheese is melted.

Place drained pasta on plate. Lay chicken breast(s) on bed of pasta. Pour cheese mixture over top. Sprinkle with diced tomatoes.

Oh, guess what's for dinner tonight, Sheri! ;-) I make a chicken spaghetti casserole that's very similar -- I'll have to try your recipe! Thanks for playing in JustRite's challenge -- love the idea of your criss-cross card to hold your cute recipe card!

I almost made the criss cross card too! I have not tried it yet. Yours came out really pretty, love your DP, everything goes perfect together. Your recipe looks like something my hubby would like too.
