JustRite Friday Challenge #090 - SKETCH
It's time for another challenge over at JustRite Inspiration! I hope you like the sketch I've created for you?!!
I like DOING cards from sketches but HATE trying to come up with the actual sketch design - LOL!! I'm not really that creative I guess but I'm trying to do better this year and step outside my comfort zone?!
I decided to create a Valentine since I don't have any on-hand and I usually wait til the last minute and then forget. SO, the first thing I thought of was the Heart Scroll background. I haven't used it in a while and thought it would be a nice touch. I stamped it with Memento Rhubarb Stalk and cut to size. Next, I went digging for my Want2Scrap Nestabling Scalloped Hearts to see what colors I had to go with my Classic Scalloped Hearts. (Love these things!)
I ran across some scraps to use for the strip across the center and some elegant ribbon I got from the Stamp Simply Ribbon Store. The white scallop is a Fiskars punch. I hope you will take time to join us over at JustRite Inspiration!!

I was going to use rolled paper roses in the center of my heart but then I remembered the With Sympathy clear set had some beautiful roses on it!! I colored with my Copics and hand cut around them (not my favorite thing - lol) and then popped them onto my heart. I then chose a sentiment from Winter Words and stamped in a black ink and accented with red Copics.
