JustRite Friday Challenge #073 - "Anything But Square"

We have another fun challenge for you over at JustRite Friday Challenge #073!!  For this challenge, we are asking you to create a shaped card in any shape BUT square.  This is a perfect challenge for some of the JustRite Custom Exclusive dies or the many Spellbinders nested dies.  I chose to use my Cricut Expression and found the perfect mixture of stamps to make this one of a kind invitation:

I started by creating the card in Cricut Craft Room with the Cricut Lite Block Party cartridge. After making the card base, I cut the layers in appropriate colors and then inked the edges with Ranger Distress inks for depth and popped up the front bun layer.
For the sentiment, I started with You Are The Best cling and cut with the coordinated Spellbinders Blossom Three die and Nested Pennants.  I then colored with my COPICs and then stamped the sentiments from Summer Words with Momento Tuxedo Black ink.

Other: Cricut Expression, Cricut Lite Block Party (for hot dog), Cricut Craft Room (to create card base)

That is an amazing card, the only problem is now I am hungry again LOL.

What a fantastic idea for an invite.

I do have a question though. Where did you find that little round thing that you stand the card on and what is it called? I have been trying to find one myself and I am not having any luck.

Thanks for the inspiration,

Joann
