JustRite Friday Challenge #082 - "Be Supportive"

The challenge over at JustRite Inspiration is going on now! I hope you will find time to join us in the "Be Supportive" challenge. All you need to do is create a card/project to show your support to someone OR just a kind word to show someone you care. I wanted to make a ribbon card for Cancer Awareness using Be Strong clear stamp set. I chose lavender because it represents ALL forms of cancer. There is a ribbon color chart and more inspiration HERE if you are interested.
I cut Spellbinders A-2 Fancy Postage Stamps in white and popped on top of a lavender polka paper. Next, I embossed the lavender cardstock with Spellbinders Simplicity M-Bossabilities folder. The three squares are Inchies that a had to trim a little to fit in the space. I stamped the images and sentiments in Memento Tuxedo Black ink, added pearl accents and seam binding from the Stamp Simply Ribbon Store.

The focal image has a black base cut from Spellbinder Floral Ovals and layered with the Classic Scallop Oval and Classic Oval. Finally, I stamped the ribbon on the same polka dot paper and highlighted with my COPICs.

For this card, I started with scraps of paper from Bo Bunny Gabrielle and simply stamped the Grand Sentiments directly on the card base in 2 colors. I heat embossed the Lace Medallion Labels border in white onto vellum and added a pearl flourish and seam binding from the Stamp Simply Ribbon Store.
