Spellbinders Guest Design Spot with Candlewick Sampler

Today, I am thrilled to be sharing a trio of Christmas cards on the Spellbinders blog that I created with the Candlewick Classics Collection by Becca Feeken! I have a lot of pictures in this post but I'll start by showing one of the set all together and then explain each one individually.
I was so excited to see these new basic shapes in the candlewick design. They are great for sentiments or accenting a focal image. For my first card, I created a 5-1/4” square card base and cut the Doily Round to match.
Next, I added pearls to each point and sandwiched the gold mirror Candlewick Circles between the sentiment and then framed it with an accent piece from the Amazing Paper Grace November Die of the Month Winter’s Solstice Snowflake and some die cut Layered Poinsettias.
For my second card, I die cut the edge of my card with Doily Border and then added a second border layer to the front of my A2 card.
I used the Candlewick Ovals for my sentiment and a few more Layered Poinsettias to create this elegant look.
For my final A2 card, I layered 2 Doily Round dies – one in burgundy and one in cream and adorned with pearls again.
This time I used the Candlewick Squares for my sentiment and trimmed the edges of the doily to fit my card base.
I hope you enjoyed my coordinating trio of holiday cards today and it inspires you to get started on your holiday cards.

OTHER SUPPLIES:
Prima Christmas In The Country paper, Bazzill Cardstock, Kaisercraft adhesive pearls, gold mirror paper
