Today I am sharing my first card with part of this ADORABLE stamp and die collection by Tina Smith called "
Sweet Street" available over at
Spellbinders. This card features several sets from this collection and I just couldn't wait to make all those sweet little cookies!
I took a more masculine approach with this one because I am always needing a birthday card on hand for one of my guys but these colors can really work for anyone I think.
I started by cutting the "box" for my cookies with the clever "Sweet Treat Box Etched Dies" out of striped paper and added a window with some velum for just a peak inside.I decided to cut all my cookies from "
Cookie Corner Etched Dies" out of dark brown, cream and tan cardstock. Then for the lighter cookies, I simply added some shading around the edges with a little distress ink and a sponge to make them look like they were fresh out of the oven.
The stacked label on top uses "
Sweet Confections Label and Banner Dies" and they fit perfectly with the box. There is also a "
Sugar Coated Sentiments" clear stamp set I used here to coordinate.
Tina really thought of everything with sweet set. I think I'll create a few more because these are the easiest cookies to make (AND fat free - lol)!
