JustRite Friday Challenge #28 - A Picture Is Worth A thousand Words

This week at JustRite Inspiration they are having a challenge using a photo.  I have to say that I have NEVER done anything with photos or a layout but I have been toying with the idea of making my mom a very special birthday gift! (I hope she doesn't see this and ruin the surprise?!)  I am making a small book with 6 pictures that I have of me and my brother when we were very young.  My brother passed away after a short battle with cancer at the age of 15.  It was the day after my 11th birthday.  I hope my mom will like it and it will remind her of a happier time!?  Here is the cover of her book:
I used Spellbinders Labels Two for the frames and the eyelet is a Martha Stewart punch.  The sentiment is from JustRite's Cherish the Memories set and the border from Baroque Nested Frames.  Everything was inked with Ranger Antique Linen for an aged effect.  I will post the rest after her birthday at the end of August!
Thanks for looking!
