The Shabby Tea Room Challenge #125 - "Sweet Summertime"

JustRite Papercraft is sponsoring the challenge over at THE SHABBY TEA ROOM and I just couldn't help but join in on this one when I saw the beautiful inspiration photo!  The challenge is to create a card or project inspired by the COLORS in the attached photo AND INCLUDE FLOWERS and A STAMPED ELEMENT!  Here is the inspiration photo:

I knew when I saw the photo of the flowers laying on the newspaper print that I wanted to use Fleuriste Newsprint Background and stamped in soft pastels.
I chose several ink pads and stamped in various places on the background.  After cutting out to size, I inked the edges with Old Paper and Vintage Photo Distress Inks.  I colored the butterfly with a few COPICs and added to a white Spellbinders Grand Scalloped Square card base.
A few flowers, rhinestones, lace and ribbon add the final touches on my card.  I hope you will find time to join the fun this week!!
