Publish Your Blog Post To Facebook Automatically

There has been a lot of discussion lately about how to automatically publish your photos to Facebook and I have tried several options (Network Blogs, Bloglovin', RSS Graffiti, etc). The problem with most of them is they only show a small thumbnail image and aren't that great for attracting attention. That is why a lot of you are adding manual entries to FB currently. I have been playing around with a new tool that actually copies the first picture of your post to a specified photo album in FB with a link to your original post in Blogger. This is done with the RSS Feed function so it can work with basically ANY blog style page (Typepad, Wordpress, Blogger, etc.) that has RSS Feed capabilities.

The tool is called IFTTT which stands for "If This Then That" and it is amazing all the different combinations that it can support. You can copy "THIS" and it will do "THAT" -- from your blog to FB, your FB to Twitter, Tweet about a new addition to a Pinterest Board or post to FB, save a file to Dropbox every time an attachment is received in Gmail, create an event on Google Calendar as a reminder everytime an email is labeled as "ToDo"(or any other keyword), Tweet of FB about a new item in your Etsy store, it can even send you a text when there is a full moon or (if you have the right technology) blink your home lights when your favorite team is about to kick off!! These are only a few examples but you can see the possibilities. There are over 70 "channels" to choose from to date so check it out and let me know if you found this helpful!
