CUPCAKE CREATIONS CR84FN5

This week on Mona's challenge CR84FN5 we were supposed to make a project with her colors selected.  Here is her color palette:

The picture has a lot of lighter shades but I went a little darker and took the names of the colors literally.  I immediately thought of a gingerbread man but have seen so many lately and wanted to do something I hadn't done before.  I found this cute reindeer QuicKutz die and thought it would be perfect!  Here is my card:

Isn't he cute?!?  I just love googly eyes!  The stamp is JustRite 1-3/16" Holiday Cheer Borders & Centers and I thought it went well with the theme.  I also embossed some brown paper with Sizzix/Tim Holtz Alterations Woodgrain folder and accented with Distress inks.  Here is a close-up so you can read the stamp:

I wasn't sure about this concept when I started but I just loved how it turned out!  Now, I can't wait to eat me some turkey tomorrow!
