I am SO excited to be this week's guest designer on Mona's Cupcake's Creations Color Challenge this week!  I have never been "showcased" on any blog before so this was quite an honor.  When Mona told me the colors this week, I immediately thought of my BFF who has EVERYTHING purple!  I called to ask her what kind of card she needed because I had to make a purple card.  She said she would love for me to make something for her mother's 70th birthday party next week.  OK, so on with the color inspiration for this week...here are the beautiful colors Mona chose this week:

Here is my purple birthday card:

I used a JustRite Birthday 1-5/8" center surrounded by a Waltzing Mouse Very Vintage Labels No.2 frame cut with the coordinating Spellbinders Labels Two (once in white and then traced and hand-cut in purple). Then, I added a little lace and some rhinestones and topped it off with some gorgeous deep purple ribbon.

The inside was stamped with JustRite Birthday Wishes 2-3/8" center and a JustRite All Occasion Sentiment with a couple of accents from Waltzing Mouse Labels No.14 for that added touch.  I just love my new Waltzing Mouse stamps!!

The envelope was embossed with a Cuttlebug 7" Measure for Measure embossing folder and stamped with JustRite Brayton Font.  I hope you enjoyed my first ever guest spot project!?  We hope you will stop by and show us YOUR purple creations!!
