MY SHERI CRAFTS CHALLENGE #38 - NEW YEARS

I was looking for some ideas for New Years and wanted to do a champagne bottle.  I found this card and matching envelope on Cricut Wild Card cartridge which is the first cartridge I ever bought.  When I started making the card with silver sparkle paper, I wasn't sure it was going to work.  It looked a little plain and not very interesting.  I was trying to figure out how to add the spray at the tip of the bottle after you pop the cork and I got out my favorite stamp set by Inkadinkado (Dot Flourishes).  I use this set all the time...I LOVE IT!!

I think it added just the right touch!  I then added the 2011 on the card and envelope from JustRite Medium/Large Numbers set and stamped the inside with more flourishes and a phrase from JustRite Friendship Nested Sentiments and Verse.

I accented the flourishes with a Sakura Stardust pen to add some sparkle.  The card is kind of a tri-fold card and when you open it up the bottle looks like it's spraying inside too?! (Totally by accident - LOL!) 

I was pretty happy with how it turned out in the end!  TFL!!
