JustRite Friday Challenge #113 - In The Background

It's time for another fun challenge over at JustRite Inspiration! For this one, I decided to focus on background stamps since there have been some great tutorials lately featured on their Tutorial Tuesday series. I wanted to create a version of Darsie's double embossed card and put my own spin on it but I couldn't really decide how to execute it. So, I thought of the Elegant Corners Clear Stamps that coordinates with Elegant Corners Labels Four Background.

I started by stamping the background in Memento Toffee Crunch on cream cardstock and then taking the clear stamps and lining up on top. It's so easy with the clear stamps and a clear block! I stamped and heat embossed each corner one at a time being careful not to leave powder in the wrong places (but don't look to close because it's not perfect in a few places).

After that, I heat embossed a sentiment from Grand Thank You Sentiments cling stamps in the same gold, cut with Labels Four Small (I think it's retired now) and layered with a Gold Labels Four cut in gold mirror cardstock.

I finished it off with 2 colors of seam binding and some Petaloo Penny Lane flowers and a few pearl accents.
